Custom Skid for Helios
This custom skid was built for a 55-meter delta marine. The system is a duplex unit with both Seaxchange and Spot Zero® systems to turn seawater to freshwater and freshwater to Spot Zero® water. The biggest design challenge our engineer team faced was building a solution that could fit through a small hole that led to the engine room’s mounting location. The answer was developing a modular unit whose pieces could be compartmentalized and then put back together resulting in a unit that fits the engine room so seamlessly that it’s reminiscent of a factory install.
